Pumpkin Patch

We went on our annual trip to the best Pumpkin Patch ever!! We met our friends the Lyons there. We had a blast.

My friend Crystal tagged me in a photo TAG. In this picture Tino was fixing the outer trim of the house and all the kids followed him outside. To keep them busy he turned on the water sprinkler and they all ran through with their clothes on. Avery had so much fun. Do you see the rainbow in this picture? This was taken in the middle of summer.

My silly boy!

Monday's are our busiest day of the week. This morning I got all the kids fed and ready to go to Ella's ballet class. As we were walking out the door I noticed that Isaac did not have his shoes so I told him to get them from the living room. He went looking for his shoes and I loaded up Ella and Avery. I started the car and yelled for Isaac to hurry up. He finally gets in the car and buckles up. We went to ballet and half way through the class I look at Isaac and notice his shoes. Not only is he wearing two different shoes but his left shoe really belongs on the right foot. I couldn't help myself from laughing. I took this picture with my phone. Look at how proud he is of his self. Oh man, my son just really doesn't care what he wears. Surprisingly he does this with his shoes often.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

The other day we were sitting around the house waiting for bed time. It had been a funky day and everyone was bored and getting on each other's nerves. So we decided to go to Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to watch them make their famous doughnuts and to eat some. When we lived closer we would take Lexy there all the time but the other three had never been. Isaac ate the football doughnuts and everyone else ate the regular glaze. They were so good. There's something about eating together as a family that brings us closer and puts our worries and troubles on the back burner. We all wore the hats, Lexy was so embarrassed.

The Lake

I took the kids to the lake to feed the ducks. It was part of our nature studies for that week. The little ones loved it. After we were done feeding the ducks Isaac showed me how to skip rocks. It was a short trip to the lake because it started to rain and we ran to the car. Maybe we'll try another day.
