Magic Kingdom

We saved the best for last. We knew this park would take the whole day to see everything we really wanted to see. Isaac was so excited he was going to see his best friend Buzz Lightyear! Ella was so happy she was going to the princess castle and going to see all the pink princesses. Lexy and Avery were just excited to go. We started our day very early, we woke up got ready and headed out there. This was the view from our taxi as we entered the world of Disney.



We got to Magic Kingdom at 8:00, but the gates don't open till 9:00. It's actually really crazy, they make you wait behind a locked gate and they have people talking on the speakers telling you how much time till they let you go through. I really felt like cattle just waiting for the gate to open to be slaughtered, graphic I know but in the heat, crying kids, and people pushing that's what it felt like. After making it through the gate we made our way to the tran that takes you across to Magic Kingdom and this was the first picture I took there.



As we entered we stopped and bought Ella an autograph book. Then we made our way into the park and saw so many characters. It was hard choosing who to see first but we saw Daisy Duck first. She signed Ella's book and we took as much time as we wanted with her. They don't rush you at all which is really nice especially when you have littles who are really not sure of what to think of these characters. Isaac really didn't care too much for Daisy, he just wanted to see his Buzz.





Oh, see the necklaces the girls have? Well Disney has a pin trading thing. You buy these pins with different characters and if you see an employee with a pin you want to trade with they have to trade with you. There are also "hidden Mickeys" on the pin and they are valued more. Lexy got really into it and would stop employees to look at their pins. Ella has all princess pins, surprise, surprise! Isaac has all Buzz pins and Avery and Lexy have a mixture of characters.

We finally saw the famous castle. It was beautiful and very big. These strollers saved our arms and backs. After a few steps, yes steps Ella was complaining that her toes hurt. So in the stroller she went and she only got out to see what she wanted to see.



Next stop was Buzz. Now Isaac has this thing with Buzz, for the moment Buzz is Isaac's hero. He really thinks that Buzz is his best friend. He was so excited to see him and ride his ride. This is the first time Isaac saw Buzz and he wouldn't turn around for me to take a picture of him and Buzz, but after a while he finally did and I had to hurry and take it. At first Isaac dropped his mouth in awe of Buzz and I know it sounds silly but I had to stop myself from crying. As a mom there are moments that you see your children in such joy that it just takes your breath away and this was one of those times for me. See how cool Buzz looks?



On the ride you sit in space ships and use a laser to shoot at different things. The entire ride is done with black light lighting. At the end of the ride Buzz shows up and tells you thank you for helping him defeat Zurg, his enemy! To this day Isaac tells us thank you for taking him to see Buzz and letting him defeat Zurg.



After the Buzz experience we went to Toon Town. In Toon Town we went in Minnie Mouse's house and we rode our first roller coaster. I really can't believe the littles rode a roller coaster but they did and they were not scared one bit. It was actually really great we had 6 in our family because Lexy was paired up with Avery and I had Ella and Tino had Isaac.









Then we saw Buzz's friends Jessie and Woody. They are so cute! We really enjoyed seeing them.



We finally made it to see the princesses. It was a 30 minute wait, and during our wait Ella fell asleep, I had to wake her to see the princesses. We saw Princess Aurora first. Then Cinderella, and finally Belle.









After seeing the princesses Tino and Lexy made their way to the gift shop and tried on some silly hats.



We were able to see and do a lot before our daily rain came. I caught a princess dancing in the rain. Ella had so much fun.







After the rain we made our way to the Aladdin part of the park. We saw Aladdin and Jasmine. We also rode the magic carpets. The kids had so much fun controlling their carpet and making it go up and down.





We were able to catch the show at the castle.





We stayed at the park until 11:00. We really wanted to see the parade. So we ate dinner and then picked our spot on the sidewalk and waited for it to begin. Isaac fell asleep.




We spent a total of 14 hours at Magic Kingdom, and it was worth every minute. Our family had so much fun. It really brought us closer as a family.
